Clinic and Guesthouse Etiquette
The Shivali Guesthouse is reserved for Panchakarma and Ojas Retreat clients only. If your friend, partner, or spouse is accompanying you during treatment they will need to seek separate accommodations. We are first and foremost a holistic healthcare clinic rather than a hotel or spa. Thus the space is meant to provide you, as well as others, with a peaceful place to rest, rejuvenate, contemplate, and heal.
We appreciate you supporting the team at The Ayurvedic Center in maintaining a peaceful healing environment for all guests in residence receiving treatment.
Due to the nature of the experiences we provide, we ask that you:
Respect the space as if you were at home. We’ve created a beautiful place to call home while you are here, we hope that you enjoy it.
Take your shoes off upon entering. You are welcome to bring slippers to keep your feet comfortable and warm.
Wearing your face mask when indoors is optional. If you prefer a therapist to wear a mask while receiving treatment, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.
Talk in quiet voices to support contemplation, meditation, and inner dialogue for you as well as others who are here.
We recommend you avoid cell phones and computers during your stay. If you have to engage please do so quietly and privately.
Please don’t bring outside food into the clinic or guesthouse. When in residence all of your meals will be provided.
We are a vegetarian facility.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us. We are here to help.
Thank you, The Ayurvedic Center of Vermont team
